First I started out with a Titan III riser and a set of 40# limbs.  Then I wanted more poundage so I bought a set of 45# limbs.  Now today I am waiting on delivery of  set of 50# limbs.  To add to the madness, I am also waiting on a 48# Fedora 560 take-down.
At some point I am going to have to settle on one bow and one set of limbs.....
I always wondered about guys with multiple bows, and now I seem to have started down that road.
At least I can justify all of the different arrows in the basement-  they go with the different rigs.

I was just explaining to my ex why I need the fifteen bows I am trying to get down to...I am just recovering from some shoulder issues so having a number of lighter draw weight bows to work back to my 65 pounders is essential...and one never knows when they will have a relapse...plus I shoot right and left handed meaning I need twice as many bows plus some dual shelf...see, having 15 bows is perfectly logical

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

I typically have 4-5 bows at any given time. I usually sell one to fund a new purchase.

I had to start selling bows after I sold all my guns.

Good luck with settling on one bow. It is entirely too much fun to have more than that!

Trad bows are just fun to shoot and beautiful to look at. When you are buying bows from the top bow builders they're all good and all different. That's why I have trouble selling the ones I have and I want more.

Different wood combos, different designs, different draw weights it's all part of the fun.

I can think of three bows I want right now.    :archer2:

You better call your sponsor and work some steps. Keep coming back, it does get better.

Well the Fedora 560 arrived this morning.  I had to take it out and shoot it a bit until the sun baked my brain.  I need a new set of string silencers as it has the twang without anything on the string and fortunately Bowhunters Superstore is only 10 minutes away.
It draws much smoother than the indicated 48#.  For a dacron string bow, it is real fast.  Handle is a bit large compared to my Titan.  Looks like a head-to-head comparison is needed tomorrow morning.

Really good to hear that Mike is still getting the bows out. The Titan is just a tool for shooting but the Fedora is a work of art and maybe just as good as the Titan as far as speed and limbs. I do know you can never get the aluminum bow to be as pretty as the Fedora. Watch your brace height and spine tuning of arrows on the Fedora and you can get it to shoot just as good as the ILF.

When you have gone through over 300 bows, then you may just stop counting. LOL. Trust me I know.

Beware the man with one bow... wherever he is!

Well, I only have one, but that will change real soon. One is never enough.
