This year is probably the best I ever had hunting. But tonight was the best.
As most of you have seen, these post on this site.

1. I got to hunt with the Little Delta Bow and took a nice Black Bear with it.

2. I got a nice 8 point this archery season.

#. I got my new Custom Kodiak today.

But the very best thing that happen this year, is that I helped my best friend get a buck.

My friend has not got a shot at a deer in 3 years. He taught me so much about shooting and still does, taught me how to make arrows, and bow strings, and to be a better hunter and sportsman.

I seen a nice 7 point with a bad leg, while hunting, I already filled my tag, so after a lot of convincing I put up a stand and put my friend in my special spot. I sat in his truck every evening in case he got a deer I could help him drag it out, he's close to 70 now.

Well after five evenings he got the 7 pointer, tonight.

It was like the greatest thing I have ever felt. Every night was like I was hunting it with him, to see him smiling and how happy, and excited he was, meant more to me than all of the above. It was truly my most full filled hunt and I did not even have a bow in my hand.
Good Luck & Good Hunting!

Sharing the feeling is pretty neat.  Almost better than doing it yourself.  In some cases...not almost.

Good job

No good deed goes unanswered. Actions speak much louder than words.

Hats off to you, and congratulations to your friend.

Its the spirit of the hunt that drives a true hunter. This is a story of more spirit than you can carry in a bucket.

That indeed sounds like a fine year. Hap
