Went out to look for critters and do a bit of stumping early today. Last night's rain made for wet but scenic hiking.

Flowers are starting to come on, and with a bit more warm weather, they will be spectacular.

I saw quite a few deer, but this group of bucks have a couple that might be real good by September.

And, it is always great to see elk. One of these is a young bull, but he has a long way to go.

Along with getting to stalk a couple of bull moose yesterday, the last couple of days has been a lot of fun, adding good wildlife viewing to a stump shooting hike. A dirty job, but somebody has to do it.

It has to be a neat thing to go stumping and get to see Elk......how cool is that! Beautiful photos!

I'm in a van heading north on I-25 right now.... About 70 miles south of Buffalo. I guess I'm looking at the East face of the Bighorns our my left window?   We are seeing tons of antelope along the way.  This is beautiful country and your pics are awesome!

Tim,
Are you heading over Hwy 16? If so, you should see some great sights.
