I'm a fan of 70's and older Bear bows.

How about some pics of them with game they have taken???

Never question a man's choice in bows or the quality of an animal he kills.  He is the only one who has to be satisfied with either of those choices.

My buddy and I used a pair of Super Kodiak's 75# each.

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!

Here's my first with a recurve from a few years ago - killed with a Bear "Stag Hunter" that my grandfather gave me - apparently manufactured in the early to mid 70's.

Sorry for the crappy quality - was late after we got her out.

Here you go. 74ish, 50 lb Kodiak Hunter. 9 1/2 weeks after quadruple bypass. Cedar arrow with a WW broadhead. Four years ago. Sweet!

When a man shoots with a bow it is own vigor of body that drives the arrow,  his own mind controls the missile's flight......His trained muscles and toughened thews have done the work

My first traditional harvest with my Bear Super Grizzly I bought 33 years ago for about $45. It was NOS from an archery shop closeout.

Before she was moved or touched by human hand.
