Well, I was able to pick up my new bow directly from Kevin and Sue on Saturday.

I was going to be out of town heading up north, but with the rainy weather, I ended up going to the Coon Rapids Shoot, and Picking up my Retro from Kevin and Sue in person.

Specs: 58" Retro, Cocobolo Riser, Waterfall Bubinga Veneers... This is a nice compliment to my recently acquired XR.

I also had a chance to meet Ike Floyd, one half of the new oweners.  I saw some of the bows they have completed, and RER will not miss a beat.... Very nicely done.  I can see a Vortex from Ike and Chester in my Future...

Hmmm...seems to me someone was going to just buy one RER bow...then he decided on a couple of Plain Jane bows instead...now he is thinking about another one in the future...think you might have a problem if you were not buying such great bows

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42

Ron its 43lbs at 28"s..   :saywhat:    :saywhat:

Mitch, you know those are the same exact specs as my XR.

I think those thin stripes are just sooooo classy.

And the bubinga veneers go really well with the riser. Bet that bow is going on the "don't ever even think about selling this one" rack. Aren't those Retros really sleek?

I like it!

Ron, that's why I ordered it at 43lbs.  You are second on the Dibbs List if I sell it..

Nice bow.  Was planning on going to the shoot Sunday, but grad party ran late and poor weather detered me.

Nice bow, I am sure you will like it. I ended up buying one from them too and I wasn't even considering it when I got up Sat. morning. I got a chance to shoot with Ike and if he builds bows like he shoots they will be every bit as good as Kevin's. Time to go out and do some more bonding with my new bow.
