Does any one have any experience with
With palmer bows if so what did you think..   :D

I had a mate a few years ago - here in Australia - who had one of his bows.   He said great bows but the service left a lot to be desired.  He had a bad experience, so ended up selling that bow.

I don't have anymore details than that, but I do remember he said that.  The reason I remember is that (at the time) Fred Eichler shot one, so I remember asking my friend about them, because I knew that he had one.

All the best in your search.  Maybe, if you draw a blank there, you could look at Pittsley or Bob Lee, because they look similar to me.

One hour of life, crowded to the full with glorious action .... is worth whole years of those mean observances of paltry decorum, in which men steal through existence, like sluggish waters through a marsh, without either honor or observation

I've had three Palmers and I liked them. Still have two and don't plan to part with either. They are fast, stable and good shooting bows. I bought mine used so I have no experience with dealing with Palmer, but I'd get another in a heartbeat if I wanted it.
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!

Is this the guy that used to build bows out of Sabinal Texas?

Wheels2

He was in Texas.  I always thought that his bows mirrored Bob Lee's.  Like Brackenberry, Blacktail and Wes Wallace.  Look similar, but owners of each can tell you the differences.

Palmer makes a great bow. I have 2 friends that have them and love them. His customer service is lacking though, so if you order one you need to have patience.
He actually worked with or for Bob Lee years ago which is probably where the resemblance comes from

I shot with Mike Palmer at the Muzzy 2 years ago. He was shooting one of his bows and it was quick and he shot it well. Fit and finish looked good. We had a nice chat while shooting the course. He had just moved to Colorado not to long before that!
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

I bought one of his bows about a year ago and I love it.  Smooth draw and very quick.  I had heard that his customer service was lacking, but Mike and Nancy have treated me very well.  They were easy to deal with and made the whole buying experience a great one.

I would buy another one without hesitation.

Mike builds a nice bow but seems like about every couple of years he goes thru a midlife crisis and won't return phone calls,emails.....I tried to buy a bow off of him a little while back and still waiting for a phone call...been well over a year..

not for me.

Outstanding bows. Got my first one back in '96..now have two more. The grip fits like a glove and they are fast. I haven't had the customer service issues that some others have had

Florida bowhunter

Thanks everybody for the input I think I am gonna get one

I shot one at Kzoo 2 years ago.  Performance was good but did not like the grip for my hand. I would want to test one personally before putting down that much money.  Good luck dealing with him.

Ditto on outstanding bows.  Be prepared for a long wait if ordering new.
