After months of hunting and several misses and blown oppertunities the winds were finally in my favor yesterday! Had some visitors early, but opted to wait for something bigger. At last light a good sized sow gave me a slightly quartered broadside shot at 20 yrds.        This time I was able to remain calm and get off a good shot.  you can see the entry wound, came out of front shoulder on opposite side. Oh, that is my first glass bow too!
An elitist mentality creates discord, even among the elite!
"I went jackalope hunting but all I saw was does!"
Luck is when preparedness meets opportunity, I just need more opportunities!

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Good job it's probably even sweeter with a bow you made yourself.
