Yep I have had the same happen to several. I still use them without any trouble but like has been mentioned a weld will fix them up. I drill holes near the bottom now to prevent water from freezing up.
same here, i only have one SE left but had to do a couple welds to repair the splits.. this will happen with any stand of that design thats left out in the winter

Yes, drilling holes in the at bottom section will eliminate that problem.   BILL

Take it to a welding shop and they can fix it up. As mentioned, have them drill a "weep" hole or two and you'll be good to go.

Looks like ICE damage. store them up side down(drain h2o out) or in heated area
As we get older our bow weight goes down and our body weight goes up, One of Lifes little jokes.

That happened to one of mine. My fault, not Screaming Eagle's fault. I didn't notice that I got a plug of mud stuck inside the bottom end of the tube. It rained hard & filled up the tube. Then it froze & swelled. Screaming Eagle is the strongest, quietest hang on stand made in my opinion.

it can be repaired by a welder very easy

Had it happen to a few of mine , all I did was sand it down some and applied JB Weld to it and finished it off by spray painting , seems to be working so far . Fred

My favorite stands.
I have 2 with 5 bracket sets.

The only stands I use.  I have 3 Eagles and one Eaglet w/3 brackets.  None of mine have these cracks but I take them down during the off-season.  As many have said, avoidable and highly repairable.

Good post, good feedback & good awareness!

I've had it happen with ladder stands freeze/thaw was the culprit.
