My good friend Keith Zimmerman is building a nice collection of Cari-Bows to go along with his Schafers.

Slynx I traded him after he sent it to Dave Windauer for some checkering and a compass.

What the Slynx looked like before Dave's handiwork.

Thanks Danny!

The Slynx is 60" 62@28.  The Wolverine is 58" 56@28.  I bought that bow from my buddy Darren Shipp.  I took advantage of a moment of weakness of his:)  Sorry and thanks Darren!

I dont know what the woods are in the Wolverine.  Darren said it was rare and Abe only made 2 bows with it.  This is one.  Darren has the other.  Darrens collection is amazing.

Keith Zimmerman

Oh my Danny!  Gary has been trying to get that Silver Fox from me forever!  He will see that pic and he will start drooling!

Actually the pic in progress is from the Bow pictured above.  The one being made is a copy of that one but a takedown with more options on it.  No pics of that Slynx yet except the veneers that Abe sent me.

wow!! the thing about those caribows is when you see one you think youve seen the prettiest bow on earth...and then you see another caribow and it starts all over. those bows are incredible, thanks for sharing.

No question, Keith has got the sticks!

My take...fwiw.

Some bowyers are good at getting phenomenal woods. Some specialize in rather spectacular layouts and designs. There are those who work hardest on performance and shoot-ability. Some bowyers have excellent people skills and reputations. But there are very few who can put it all together and operate a successful bow business.

Cari-Bow is doing it. Abe and Tina are the real deal. Their bows are simply superior in all facets, but the quality doesn't end when the bow ships. Their attention to customers is as good as I've ever seen. It's that kind of skill set which results in bows good enough for the Dannys, Keiths, and others to collect them. Those are some gorgeous works of weapon-art.

I have a C-B Featherhorn which is my primary hunting bow. It has taken a good share of meat and antler, and it is as fine a companion as I've ever carried. It will make its third trip to Molokai in a few days, and I hope to add an animal to its history.

It certainly helps when u have good trading partners like Danny, Darren, WRV, DirtyBird, and others.  Sorry if I missed a few.  Having great friends on here certainly helps.

And Kevin, Im sure yours is a heck of a looker too.  You don't do anything plain Jane!

All I have to say is keeps your eyes on the Silver Fox at ETAR I will get  it one day buddy one day !

I just need something good to trade you but in the mean time I will just have to be content sitting here drooling
