At a shoot this weekend I had a friend tell me that he has started using 2 string nocks because it will keep the arrow from sliding down the string after release, any opinions? I have always just used 1 but if I might help it's worth a shot.

Anyone who shoots 3 under should use two string nocks! All you have to do is watch the slo-mo video to convince yourself!

I shoot split finger and have bows with one and bows with two.

X2, I learned that first hand this weekend!!!! I would use sting nocks only for this.

I shoot split fingers and I use one above and one below. I get much better arrow flight.

I buy my strings from Allen Schafer .. Lefties R Us and he makes them with two nock ties and I really like them. Keeps the arrow more secure on my string when I'm up in a stand ... great strings too !!

Split finger and always use two.  Just taking one more variable out of the equation.

Split finger, two nocks.  Like NBK said, takes one more variable out of the equation.

Well i'm going to be tieing on another nock today when I get home... Do you put them so both string nocks touch the arrow nock or so they leave a small gap?

I use two nocks. I do give it just a little room so at full draw it doesn't pinch.

Nuctech

I shoot 3 under and use two nocks on all my bows.  Gives me better arrow flight.

I shoot spit and use two as well.  For those that tie on their nocks, how do you adjust them?  I watched the how to video listed here and really liked the method, however it didn't seem adjustable.

Bjorn

I shoot split and use two as well-like belt over suspenders!

2bird

I just make 1 normal knot then wrap up and down 1/8" till it's as thick as I want then tie the 2 ends together with 2 normal knots then cover it will a light coat of super glue. I use dental floss for the string nocks. It's not adjustable but takes 2 mins and a few penny's to tie one up.

Split finger 2 tie on nocks.
The less chance for movement the better off I am.   :knothead:
