Picked up a high performance static recurve,55lbs at 28 inches. I normally shoot in th low 70's and it appears the 2219's I have a too stiff. What is a good aluminum spine for this bow? I draw a honest 29 inches and have my arrows cut to 29.5. Thank you

Probably 2117's,depending on point weight and shaft length.2216 would be between the two in stiffness.

2018 or 2017 should work. Good luck.

2018's .... I shot them for years out of my 55# bows and mine were cut 29 1/2 also ... I shot mostly 125 and 135 grn BH's

Check to see how the center is cut. I know a Wapiti(Keith Chastain) recurve is cut to center and a Ballistic is cut past center. It will make all the difference in needed arrow spine.

Mountain Muffler strings to keep them quiet
Shoot as much weight as you can with accuracy
