Don't forget about the snow chiggers, Mike!

They should be gone by November! (chiggers)
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Yep, farm country chiggers, not those little skinny ones either!!   :bigsmyl:

Think you gotta talk to Steve to get the real report tho!   :D
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Yellow Dog

Yup, Steve got em good, all that time spent on the ground in nothing but a mesh leafy suit. Got to do what you got to do when the temps are pushing 90 degrees.

It's called Permanone boys.  Kills chiggers and ticks.  Hopefully won't be to hot the first week, on the other hand I get first crack at the deer.

Permanone works, I have a pair of warm weather pants with it sprayed on em, none this year yet.

Mike that's only a 99* temp range. You guys have luck like me!  :D
Stay sharp, Kenny.

If not for permanone or deet we couldn't hunt hear until November due to chiggers/redbugs and ticks.

You guys should have a blast this fall. Nice pics, especially for June.

kennym

Gery, I honestly don't know how you'all do it. The heat would bother me as much as the bugs!!

This one has me pumped as much as the buck pics!!

Stay sharp, Kenny.

Wowser, looks like some timely rain has been deposited there.

Kenny, yes the heat and mosquito's wanting to carry you off is not for the faint of heart.

We are getting nice rains this year, if it keeps on, there will be some FAT deer around this corn!

Rained 1.37" today and tonite.

Kenny, you think this will be an acorn year since they were pretty scarce last year?

That's some nice land and deer Kenny! maybe one day we can get up that way i got some family and friends in that area! I had to laugh about the chiggers we got em bad here to (Northeast Oklahoma) :)

Nate.

kennym

Mike, the white oak tree at my work is loaded right now, so I'd say we will have acorns.

Nate! Good to see you post man! How you been?

Kenny,
Me and ole Darrell are watching this one closely!!  Man that corn looks good but we know a couple guys that really like to hunt acorns in Oct.  Sure hope they are looooaaaddded!

If all those critters were around 17 yards from the stand Darrell needs to do some working out this summer to get ready to drag out my big one!

Cyclic-Rivers

Kenny, I dont see any deer in that corn field.   ;)

I think if you were able to see through the corn,. it would be peppered with brown spots come fall.

Kenny, great pics. I know that spot well, if that camera was pointing a little more west I think I'd see a cedar there.
