Yup, clean pass thru. Washed it off, just needs re-sharpened and it's ready to go again. These fir shafts are tougher than I expected, I was used to ash, which is pretty tough, so I figured these would be more fragile than what I was accustomed to. I think they are pretty close to the same......ash doesn't dent as easily as the fir, but seems like they are pretty similar for impacts with hard objects. I have managed to break 3 of them so far, and of those, only one exploded, the others just broke off behind the point. I'll just taper them, glue on a steel blunt and use em to chunk at spruce chickens this fall.   :thumbsup:
