Tell me about Yours. Likes, dislikes, grip etc.
Thanks

Biathlonman

I had one briefly, I have no idea what grip it was but I hated it, felt like I was holding a 2x4.

awbowman

I had a T/D, grip was too big for me too, but I like a smallish grip.

Shot great though.

Guess you don't have one

I had an early version, then called the Short Black Stick......it was 44# @ 29" and I wish I never sold it. I didn't know what I had and how much I really liked it till it was gone. It was a real good shooter and I loved the grip.
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

I like everything about mine,. If you like r/d long bows you will like this one as well. Seems a  tad faster and shoots great.

I think you really need to get one    :bigsmyl:

Green

I picked one up a few months back to be able to shoot recurve class at 3D and possibly as a blind bow.  I primarily shoot Hill and Hill style longbows and I really like the PSR as the Toby grip is very similar.  When I pick it up to shoot, it just feels familiar......I like that.

The bow is extremely smooth on the draw and is just a pleasure to shoot.  Compared to my LB's it tends to shoot high, but I can adjust in a matter of about 10 shots and go have some fun!

Just because you are passionate about something, doesn't mean you don't suck at it.

I think Green pegged the grip, very Hill like which I personally don't like. The one I had was also 56" which I found to short for my 29" draw. I've had most of the 50's style curves and thought the PSR lacking when compared to the competition.  Before anyone gets the wrong idea, I'm not a widow basher, I actually like most of their stuff. Just didn't care for the one I tried.  If your not set on a widow check out the Toelke Chinook, I think it's the best 50s style out there.

Test drive one from BW and see for yourself . Get the right length and I would recommend the Toby grip. I don't think you will find it lacking at all.

I don't own one. I do own a PSAIII. However every PSR I picked up and shot, shot like I owned it for a lifetime.         I would order an Ironwood!

I liked mine it had the Toby grip. Wish I would not of sold it. I liked the longbow grip on a recurve.

If I hadn't sold mine to Green David I'd let you shoot it. LOL

I loved shooting the PSR. Best of both worlds Longbow grip Recurve speed. With the 60" length it was smooth as silk at 30".

I hope to order me a 2 piece later this year to replace it.

CHENRYIV

I love mine.  Its my "go to" bow  Mine a 54"PSR V, 57# @ 28".  I don't think the make them that length any more.
