Maybe I've asked this before, but I don't recall.  What is your favorite screw in broadhead in 150 grains? I like the 4 blade Magnus Stingers but am open to lots of options.

I really like:

VPA Three blades
Magnus Buzzcut
Strickland Helix
Thunder valley Snuffers
Silverflame XL

Alexander Traditional

I've got two set ups that I'm using 150's out of. I haven't killed anything with any of these broadheads yet because I was using Tree Sharks with another set up,but they all fly really well.

1. VPA 150 grain three blade
2. 125 grain Zephyr Scirocco with 25 grain aluminum adapter.
3. 150 Medicine Bear
4. 150 NAP Razor Caps

I've got a place where I can shoot a lot of hogs. I'm going to give the Badger broadheads a try there for the penetration. I think they quit making the Razor Caps, but I have a few in stock, they are crazy sharp right out of the package. The Zephyr's fly really well and have a 1 and 5/16th cut. I just wanted to try the VPA's they look really tough and they fly well. The VPA's look sort of small, but I still bet they get the job done. Hopefully I will be getting out more and get some hogs with these broad heads.

Kustom King Trailmaker at 145 grains is my favorite.  Razorcap would be the next choice.  Trailmaker is made by VPA

I used a 150 grain woodsman on a black bear and it worked well

Orion

Woodsmans, Zwickey Deltas, STOS, Magnus.  Tons of excellent 150 grain combinations out there.

Magnus Stinger Buzzcut
Silver Flame

My Silver Flames are when they were still made in Germany. I haven't purchased any since then as I went to the Magnus Stinger because they are similar in style but less expensive.
A man's true measure is not found in what he says, but in what he does.

Steelforce Phathead, Stinger and Silver Flames have all produced complete passthru's on deer for me, with lightweight bows. To be exact, the Phathead is marked 145grs. A 5gr weight ring will make it 150, if one wants exactly 150, plus or minus 2.

If lack of respect for a broadhead was any measure, it'd go to the Steelforce Phathead, hands down. Made in the USA, blade thickness of .080 that you can't bend by shooting into concrete, stainless steel blade, razor sharp/ready to hunt out of the pack, Steelforce will resharpen if you send back, available from 75grs to 190grs (even heavier by special order) and only $33 for a 3 pack. Why the Phathead isn't the most popular screw in head is rather baffling. My guess is, many traditional hunters have never seen or used them and as more hunters get exposed to them and use them, they will become one of the top 3 heads traditional hunters use.
