Hey all, haven't been on In awhile. I was wanting to get some new arrows and I was gonna get either the Easton  xx75 game getter or the xx75 camo hunter, what is your opinions on these two arrows. I believe the gamegetters have plastic uni bushings correct? How do they hold up? And also what spine, I'm shooting a one piece recurve 52#@28". I like a longer arrow and I'll probably just shoot 125 gr up front, so would I need 2016 or 2018? Thanks!

I use 2016's with my HHA longbow that is 50#.
They are 29" BOP w/125 upfront

The xx75 GameGetter 400 (2117) fly nice out of my JD Berry Morningstar (reverse-handle Hill style longbow) 68" 55#@31" (I'm drawing probably 30", so 52-53#).  My arrows are 31.5" BOP, 125gr field points.  However, they are slightly stiff for my Hill longbows which are 50#@28" (54-55# @ 30").
Typically, a recurve likes a little stiffer arrow than a Hill-style longbow of the same draw weight, so if your arrows are similar in length to mine, I think the xx75 GameGetter 400s (2117) would work for you.  If your choice is between 2016 and 2018, I'd go 2018.

Bowhunting is "KILL and EAT" not "Catch and Release".....Semper Fi!

I like the camo hunter better than the Gamegetter.

What jkm97 says. I believe the camo is a stronger shaft even if it is xx75. Check Easton website, they post tensile strength for their shafts.
Either way learn how to straighten them.

I shoot the 2018s ,29.5" long and a 125 ace standard head. I shoot it out of a Thunder Stick ram hunter recurve. Great set up. The 2018 and 2016 are some tuff arrows with plenty of weight to get good pass thru"s.

Hey, Mountain Lion, I have some 2117 XX75 if you want to give them a try.

I'm shooting gamegetters out of my recurve (40@28).  They do have plastic bushings, but I haven't had any problems yet.  I even swapped out all the nocks (they came yellow and I wanted orange), without a hitch.  I'm shooting the 500's.  I am using them for practice, but plan on getting half a dozen camo hunters for hunting.
