Hey guys I wanted to show off my latest finds. I think I did pretty good. First thing I found was a old box of fred bear wooden arrows. there was a complete pack of 6.It even came with an original bear arm guard. I loved the look of the box which is why I bought them. I figured for $10 I couldnt go wrong.

Next up was the deal I was really excited about. I saw it on the table and the guy wanted $100 for it. Well I was able to talk him down to $80. It is a beautiful bow. It is a bit heavy for me at 70#@28 but I am quickly being able to shoot it better and better each time i shoot it.
Does anyone know anything about this bow? There is no name on it but there is a model number.

also I wanted to know if this bow could handle a FF string? the tips look like they have a strip of reinforcement through the center of them. Does that make it FF compatible or not?
thank you in advance for anyone who knows anything about this bow. Thanks, SS

Nice finds. Definately a Martin - don't think I'd take a chance with a ff.

A decided "I wouldn't risk it" with the FF.

I'd be nervous since there is no tip overlay.

Even some bows with overlays shoudln't be shot with FF.

I have a couple vintage bows that the maple/walnut tip overlays were chewed through with a FF string. I replaced them with phenolic overlays and life is good.

I woudn't mess with this one.
