Last year I came into a Morrison Cheyenne off this wonderful site. Shot fast and smooth, but couldn't get arrows tuned out of it to save my butt. After a few weeks of trying I let my 11 year old son shoot it, and he just fell in love with it. Fast forward several months to the next turkey season and I end up needing glasses, guess old age is sneekin up on me. Now, I have not found a way to draw my longbow and not hit my glasses at full draw, but that Darn Cheyenne is short enough at 54" to fit right in....so, off to the indoor range I go to tame the beast. After looking at Morrison's website, I see that my brace height is past what he recommends, so down I go...seems like to a longbow brace, thinking this aint gonna work. Well it does work and now my Axis arrows are shooting clean, and hitting where I look! Seems that the thunder chickens are in for some trouble this weekend.
Now I have to tell my son that he is going to have to shoot the longbows for now.   :scared:

Good luck, but I have worn glasses my whole life and have never had a problem with hitting my glasses when I draw with a longbow or recurve.

I've worn glasses most of my life too & I haven't had any trouble hitting them with my bow.

I am sure that with time I would figure it out, but I didn't mind the prod to play with the Cheyenne. My son took the news well, then asked if he could go back to shooting my whip, what could I say but yup.
