I expect to hear from Big Jim soon regarding my wood selections for a new Buffalo. Can't tell you how many bows I would have ordered by now. My latest idea is  an osage riser with dark wood inlays, maybe macassar or cocobola and highly figured koa limb veneers. I don't think I've seen that combo before. Let's see what you've got.

Sounds like you've got some good ideas already.

Here's a Buff I bought new from Big Jim to test drive the model and then sold to a fellow TGer.  Cocobolo and shedua riser, red cocobolo veneers:

Btw, I had a Thunderchild with Koa back and belly and it was awesome.  Good Koa looks like it has crystalline deposits in the curl- it glows in bright light.  I have a Cari-bow with Koa arriving this week and can't wait to get it out in the sun.

Awesome looking stick Chuck! Thanks for the pics. Is that a low or medium grip? I had a Cari-bow Silver Fox a few years back, another great shooting bow!

Flat-
My Buff was a low wrist grip and the 'medium' girth if I remember correctly.  I'm between a medium and a large glove and it fit nicely.

That B&W ebony Buff.  I've seen pics of it before, and yes, why did he give it up???!!!!
