Ok so I am going to order me a JD Berry and I remember seeing a post of one on here it might have been (Mudds) but I thought that it looked awesome!!! If someone could direct me to that post I would appreciate it. If you happen to have a bow with white glass I sure would like to see it.

Thanks , Steve

Mudd's bow is in this thread, along with a bunch of other beautiful examples.

How do like your Tembo's  ?
That's what I want next.

Look up 1958 Kodiak and 1962 Grizzly. Both fantastic bows with white glass.

They shoot very well.  The two white glass bows are older bows.  The myrtle wood Tembo in the picture is a late 60's vintage made by John Shulz.  It's unique in that it is a two bamboo  lam construction,  50# draw weight, 69" long.  What is surprising is that it is as smooth as any of my current 4 and 5 lam bows.  It casts a 500 gr arrow like a heavier weight bow.

I am a huge fan of 60's and 70's target bows. The wood combinations those guys used back then, topped with white glass was just incredible.
The Wilson Brothers made some incredible Black Widows during that period that were museum quality. Along with many, many others.

All Yew cores/lams?

Thanks,

If you are ever planning an Arctic hunt then white belly and back makes sense...I have seen a Kempf longbow that was made that way for a successful musk-ox hunt

I set out a while ago to reduce my herd of 40 bows...And I am finally down to 42
