First off, I was lucky in many ways to get my hands on this bow. It was won by someone else at the Joan Leonard Bunny hunt raffle. It was won Greg Brushette, Glenbos son. Glen (Glenbo) is the master bowyer behind this masterpiece.

My son Noah and I sat with them for dinner and BSing and when the grand prize( this bow) was drawn what do you know? It went to Greg. He handed it to me and said"Its Yours!" I was floored. I had been oogling it all morning but never thought Id be so lucky to win 2 Glenbo self bows, as I had won one fair and square a couple of years ago.

If any of you have ever had the pleasure of meeting Glen, he is an awesome feller.  Down to earth, good sense of humor and values the good things in life. Thanks Glen and Greg, this bows going hogging soon and I hope to get it bloody. Ive decided to name it "Jivaro". Its what us Puerto Ricans call a hillbilly, like us.           :notworthy:

  Oh yeah, she's hickory 53# @ 28" 64" . Deadly quiet.

That's a good looking bow! That was a very nice gesture. Who made that bow?

now Izzy, I was sittin' right next to you guys, you failed to mention the passage of the "get out of jail free" card.  :biglaugh:

My name would be the last one to mention if he ever got locked up. They'd throw him in solitary confinement for sure.

Heres a 20 yard group with MFX 500s. I know some say its sacrilegious to shoot carbons out of self bows but Im a sacrilegious type of dude more often than not.

izzy you sure are lucky, I was envious last time you won.  I cant believe you won again.  Jivaro sure is a beauty.
