Is there any knowledge about the types of bows used in Western Europe in stone age times? Also, any pics of stone points from there? I saw a picture once of some flint points that reminded me of the shape of guitar picks and was wondering if that is typical.

I have acquired a Wels/English longbow and wondered if this style bow came after the use of stone. Would appreciate any help, especially from the European members.

There is a chapter in TBBII titled "Ancient European Bows" that includes the Holmegaard, Stellmoor, Meare Heath, and other bows along with examples of some of the Neolithic chisel shaped and other stone points of the time.
