Wanted to hide some of the shine of my Super K's black glass limbs.  Bought paint and tape, for now the rattle has stayed in the can.

I love the contrast- camo bow but pink arrows.
On a more serious note, I have also used paste wax on bow limbs.  Apply and let dry but don't buff it off.  It remains dull for quite some time.

Shoot as much weight as you can with accuracy

I'm a bit on the cheap side, hence the duct tape.

You may want to check with the experts on this but years ago I heard that putting tape on the bow limbs was not a good thing to do.

I put camo duck tape on a PSE recurve a couple years ago. Looks pretty neat, has held up unbelievably well, and didn't break the bank. It doesn't seem like it would hurt anything. Maybe we can get some insight.
Live and let live.

What brand is it and where did you get it?  I have a bow that would benefit camo tape.

awbowman

I have a climber that would benefit from it too
62" Super D, 47#s @ 25-1/2"
58" TS Mag, 53#s @ 26"
56" Bighorn, 46#s @ 26.5"

Looks good. Tape will not hurt a glass limb. Might be a sticky mess when you take it off.
You can hop but you can't hide.
If it was not for rabbits I would never get a buck.

Wal Mart, unsure of brand.  I think it's Realtree Hardwoods.  I was just trying to avoid painting it although I stare at the three cans of Rustoleum daily and wonder how good it would look all camo'd up.

Bobby Urban

Kind of heavy and bulky so adding a bit of weight to the limbs could effect performance but probably not much more than a set of snake skins so have at it.

On that note - skinning a bow is rather easy and DIY is pretty inexpensive if you get the skins yourself or on the cheap.

Wheels2

You will probably get a bunch of adhesive on the bow when you remove the tape but a bit of WD-40 on a paper towel will remove it.
If it does not affect the bows shooting, nothing wrong with it.  The tape will also help prevent scratches to the face of the limbs.

Like the tape watch what paint you use. I ruined a set of limbs trying to get latex paint off of them. Now I know some will say "who cares, it is a hunting bow" but a bow all camoed is hard to resell.
The tape may need some "goo gone" to remove the sticky stuff.
