OCD?  I am not sure if it applies to bow hoarding.  The woman across the street heats and insulates her house with cats, everyday in the summer she mows her yard and blows every inch of it out on the street.  I hear that damn leaf blower going for hours, OCD at its best.  Is having many bows like a stamp collection?  Every so often, they take them and rearrange them.  I used to have wall covered with bows. One day it dawned on me that if I wanted to move, all of those recurves would be hard to pack.  When I was checking them over, I found that I also had a very fine dust collection.  I sneezed for a half hour, until my neck was out and I had a migraine.  It was time for the wall of bows to go.

JD called me this evening. He asked how I liked the bow.....I told him, "Well, I'm sure I will if it ever gets here." Long pause at the other end of the phone. "Seriously, you don't have it yet?" he said. "Nope"
A ruffle of papers and JD gave me the tracking number. Seems the last time it was scanned was yesterday when it left Spokane, WA.

Where O' where has my little bow gone,
Oh where, oh where can it be?

James is worried....I'm trying to be patient till the morrow. I'll keep y'all posted.

Last tracking showed it was at the sort facility in Fort Worth. Too bad, my grandson and I are headed out in the morning to spend four days chasing javvies and hogs. Guess it will be next Thursday before I even see it.

Hey Danny....Can't wait to see the new addition to the family !

Ric O'Shay

Sorry for the delay in getting back to all. I wasn't trying to prolong the suspense. The bow wasn't delivered until last Monday and by then I was 400 miles from home with my grandson chasing pigs in the rain.    :banghead:

Got home late last night and spent the day unpacking and get reorganized. Anyway, I opened the package from James and here is what I found.

Of course it has the JD Berry special nocks.

Ric, please tell me that you hate it and want to sell it to me.
You sir have fine taste in bows and woods.

Now that is a gorgeous bow!!!!
That right there is what James does, puts out beautiful bows that shoot better than they look  and that's a tall order. I am in love with my Taipan and it makes it hard to shoot another bow due to how effortless it is to be accurate with.
Congrats on the bow Danny

Nice bow Danny!  Now get out and show us some groups.  That's what they do best...
