Does anyone know if Roman is making static limbs for his Bobcat?

threeunder

I know he was working on them last year.  Not sure if they are available or not.

Yes.  He had them at Kalamazoo.

Colin,

Did you happen to shoot them?  Wondering what you thought if you did.

Ken,
I did not.  He had them on a right hand bow.  They look sweet!  I should have shot it as I still remember how to shoot right.

He did have a Wildcat there that wasn't finished yet that he was making special.  It was more of a target riser with heavier mass.  It was awesome.  Of course, Roman knows I like heavy mass bows.  He really got my wheels turning with that one.

I shot the statics a couple weeks ago. Very smooth with what feels like let off at the end of the draw cycle and rocket ship fast. For a short bow it was super accurate as well!  Give him a call!!

And ceme 24 that riser you speak of was for my tournament bow and it is the smoothest shooting longbow I have ever shot. If you are ever near dennison look me up and we will go sling some arrows and you can find out for yourself !

I shot them at Kalamazoo and told Roman he now had to make me another set of limbs. They are outstanding.

I am going to have to find my way to Dennison, it perhaps we should meet at a shoot.  That bow just looked and felt so sweet at Kalamzoo.  I bet its fantastic finished!

Ceme24, we did some chrono work on that new bow today. It is 49 lbs at 30" and with a 365 gr arrow we had an avg speed of 198fps and had multiple readings over 200! I say this not to walk all over the original thread but to tell you that those static tip limbs are appreciably faster than that. My shooting partner ordered a riser like mine yesterday with static limbs and I ordered a set static limbs as well. Romans bows are super impressive and those statics are smokin!

Team Fudd:
Sounds like an awesome bow!  Could you post some pics of it finished?

I am technically challenged and have not attempted ever posting pics but I am supposed to see roman on sat and if he has a static finished I will take pics and maybe someone will be willing to post them of both my new tournament bow and Romans new static limb design. We (Hill Country Bows) will also be at the bowhunting super show in Columbus Ohio in march and roman said he would have one there if anyone wants to shoot it.

I just bought Mark Roland's (AZhunter) bobcat with longbow limbs. Beautiful bow! Performer too. Would the static tip limbs fit this riser? If it does I may never by a another bow! Now that's saying something! LOL

Congrats on the Bobcat!  That one is a beauty.  Roman makes static tips for that bow.
