My son has a CHERISED Bear Montana.

The string on it has 200,000 miles...and it is time.

I think the bow can easily handle fast flight, but not 100% sure. The bow tips are overlayed nicely.

I know the new Montana come with a FF type string.

My question...is it possible to separate the layers of the existing string to tell if it is FF...can a guy tell by looking, and if not, does anyone know if the older Montana is FF compatible?

If the string I make for him breaks his bow, he will be seeking adoption by someone here...but WARNING...he EATS LIKE A BROWN BEAR before hibernation.

I would ask the Company, just so ya dont get Eaten!! Better safe than digested!

I loved that even my kids bows are FF these days.

I had Oliverstacey (Josh) build me a 12 strand D-10 right after I got my Montana.  He's listed in the Sponsors Classifieds if you need a top quality string!
