I have a 58" three piece Pronghorn (long riser)that I really like.  I'm thinking of getting a 60", 62" or 64" just for the shooting comfort/forgiveness of a longer bow.  Have any of you ever shot both lengths and what was your experience.  My draw length is 28".  I can feel some finger pinch but I seem to get a good release.  Thanks for your time.

cant really help ya here, just wanted to say im a jealous non-pronghorn owner chiming in.  have shot a few of his bows at different times, and one of these days im going to own one of my own.

I've owned by 60 and 62 and my preference is the 62!  All my bows are 62 and just something I prefer.

I have 2 62" and 1 66" and I like the 62" bows better.  Never thought I would like the shorter ones plus I draw 29".

I have shot 60 i ch in both one piece and take downs.  I have a 62 inch 3 piece and love it.  I like the extra mass in the riser.  It is my go- to bow.  These pronghorns are just plain shooters

With a 28" DL a 62" Pronghorn should be darn sweet.  I've got a 31.5" draw and mine is smooth out to about 30.5", the last inch I can feel it hitting the wall.  I would love to do a straight across trade for a 66" PH, low to mid 50's weight wise, if anyone is interested.  Hard to beat a Pronghorn for a great shooting, hard hitting bow.

My 62" pronghorn was one of my all time favs. I had a few 60's and 1 58" fast flite. Which was hard to shoot at over 60#. My style of shooting changed and no longer pronghorn LB. either way I never had  pinch problems with my 60 and 62 of any bow. You might consider lightening you're draw weight and reducing pinch and friction that way too. As the string angle at 58" isn't as great as most people think. Good luck!

As others have said and I agree; the 62" model has been the best shooter for me.  Prongys are real sweet and very well crafted!

I own two 62" Pronghorn takedowns.  One with Bamboo/Bamboo/Bamboo limbs, 56#'s @ 28".  The second is a Bob Limb with Tonkin/Bamboo/Osage, 55#'s @ 28".  My draw is about 27.5".  Bamboo limbs have a very smooth draw.  Bob Limb is a high performance bow with a slighter stiffer draw than all Bamboo limbs.    Both deliver excellent performance.

I went with a 58" but I chose the longer limbs and shorter riser. It has the smoothness of the 62"

I have a few pronghorns. I would say that I am a fan of the 62. So much so I have three of them.

Brad I thought it was a prerequisite for living in Wyoming,  that is shooting a pronghorn. At least that's what Randy told me

Well,  looks like I may have to try a 62".  I hunt exclusively from tree stands for deer so the 58" is nice but I hunted with a 66" Shelton for a season and had no issues.  The 62" may offer some advantages, but like most things it will be a give and take kind of thing.  I do love my Pronghorn.

Just like Pops. My 60 incher at my 27" draw is butter smooth.

I draw 28.5.  Had a 58" and it was the best bow I've ever owned, but  I am currently shooting a 60" and it suits me better (and very well).
