Just picked a KS from a fellow TG member. Anyone know whether you can exchange limbs between different KS risers? Looking to drop a little poundage. Did a "kwik" search and didn't find anything on the subject.

See if you can e-mail Joe Skipp. He knows much about them.

You can interchange limbs, however the my not fit your riser perfectly.   The may not flush up.   They will shoot and perform as normal just a cosmetic issue.

Guru

Yeah they'll go on and shoot fine. But Jack makes them all by hand,  so they're all a little different.

Jack would prefer the riser in his hands so he can match up the limbs for a good fit. The few I had to send back for extra limbs or weight reduction, I always sent the riser.

Hey Steve just a little heads up.
I did some horsetrading a while back with a fellow Tradganger for a set of KwykStyk  limbs for backup on my 56". Guess what, they didn't fit.
Jack's bow's are true customs, not built on an assembly line.
I would deal directly with the man so disappointments don't happen.
Congrats on your purchase.Welcome to the club.

Thanks guys. Jes hoping for a "kwik" fix. Here's to hoping Jack can get to them this year. You thinking having someone like Belcher lighten the limbs is a viable option?

Burnsie

JIm Belcher reduced some limbs on a Brackenbury Quest I used to own,  when he was the owner of the Bow Hospital (John Rafferty owns it now - also in Michigan) I think either can do a fine job, depending on how much weight you are talking about.

Went and talked w/ Jim yesterday. He thought no prob. He's going to craft a bit of palm swell as well. Thanks for getting backs guys.
