to protect the finish on my bow specially the grip do I wax my bow with a wood wax or what would you suggest ?

Matty

The finish that's on it should suffice.... You could use paste wax which is safe but you don't want to  sand and put a different finish on  it

Also for the grip. You could cover it with a rubber sleeve. Like posigrip or something of the like.

The Whip needs nothing. Many coats of Thunderbird epoxy finish is dang near bullet proof. However if you wipe it down with Ballistol (Dan's preferred product and GREAT STUFF) and then polish it off it will be easier clean mud and grime off it after hunting.
The grip will only polish up after use but not wear off. I have been shooting mu Whips for quite sometime now and other than they small ding here and there from falling down hillsides it is good as new. Like I said Thunderbird is amazing stuff.
