Green isnt making them anymore, I looked at Wilderness Custom Arrows, they are nice but 109.00 for 12 youth arrows shipped?

I want youth arrows that have some kind of helical fletch (4" is fine I am sure), that doesnt have some silly 20grain crimped on weight, and that looks halfway nice.

lets face it, kids loose arrows- however they also want them to fly something like the adult arrows fly. not sideways half way to the target, banging into the shelf on a good release, or bouncing off of the target on impact.

Yep. That's why I make my own.  Decent 5/16 shafts, feathers, finish, nocks and 75-100 grain points do tend to add up though.  Cost almost as much as my "adult" arrows.

I do manage to save on the feathers.  I use full length feathers and cut and burn my own and often have good 4-inch sections left over that I can use for the kids arrows.

Northwest Archery, Suzanne St. Charles. 52.00 a dozen, quality real arrows for kids bows. 125 grain field points. You can also get good kids arrows from Black Widow(very good price). I've bought arrows for my kids from both and have been pleased with them.

This is a great topic. Crappy equipment can loose a kids interest fast. Like fishing, get a kid something you would be happy with and let them use it. If it works good, they will stay interested. Also it has to resemble something an adult has. Like BB guns. They used to be made of wood and steel. They required maintnence of a real gun. They had the look and feel of a real gun. Not plastic. A kid can tell. I am going to look into it. Heck, I make arrows.

I checked out    Northwest Archery   and they seem to have what I am looking for~ fair prices too!

Black rhino arrows are very well done at a good price.

I've always bought Easton Blues from **** and fletched them up and expoxied inserts and used regular field points for my grandkids once they moved from the 20# Little Bear.

Another vote for Black Rhino...great arrows that fly really well out of light bows.  The best thing...real steel points that will stick into any target!  That helps keep the kids interested.  Most youth arrow offerings are too heavy or have crimped on points that won't stick, or both.
