I have an old Adams hip quiver that I use once in a while.  It works, but a bow quiver is pretty handy.

Gary, I was admiring your quiver on the cover of the 2nd quarter 2013 PBS magazine.

I have one of the Art Vincent quivers too and I really like it.  All leather, adjustable and really lightweight and quiet.  Ron Laclair sells them as the Shrew Mantis quiver.  I find it more convenient than a hip quiver especially for walking through brush or thickets.

Just ordered a absorkee from Tim. We'll see how it works out soon.

This hip quiver style has suited me.   From a treestand, to crawling thru willows, to stalking the brush of TX and AZ....to above the arctic circle.   It works and works well.  

I never have liked a bow quiver, and they just seem un-natural on a selfbow or longbow.  

Try Tim's Absorkee Quiver....a take-off from the original Quiver Caddy.  In fact it still uses the Quiver Caddy bracket, but has just "classed-up" the way the arrows are "holstered" some.

Can anyone post a photo of Baker's Quiver Caddy? Are these still available?

If you want a good hip quiver try the Absorkee from Farr West Leather. I use his roving style for stumping and range practice Every time I'm out.
