I'll be bringing a Wolverine FXT snakewood/ebony handled bow with snakewood veneers and a checkered handle. 60", should net about 53#@28". It's a pretty one!

I bet that was fun! Knowing how hard that wood is

South...that's sounds like the perfect bow for me ! Just put it in the mail after kazoo and I'll give it a good home !

I love it.  If I were to build a custom bow, could you checker all the way up to the tope of the grip?

Spurs, you can't really check through the throat of the grip because the lines of the pattern of the checkering get distorted going through the radius. It's tough enough going over the longer radius of the palm of the handle!
