I've thinking about ordering a Toelke Whip for months.  In fact, I visit their website almost everyday, checking them out and trying to decide on wood combos.  Wouldn't you know it? I checked today and the prices went up. I guess I'll just have to save up a little longer....

Prices went up!  Whoa.  You know, I actually understand why.  Dan and Jared make some of the most well finished, great shooting bows available and they are in demand.  The Whip is one of the benchmark bows I have tried.  I often use them as a comparison.  It was only a matter of time.  Let's hope all our wages rise to accomodate the change   :D

I saw that they went up too, but I think they only went up 50 dollars and are still cheaper than a lot of bows out there and with a much shorter wait time.

I'm just whining a little on my timing....No doubt Toelke Bows are worth the money.

Wow, me TOO!
I was  just on there site day before yesterday looking at an in stock Super D. Went back tonight to drool a little more and saw a $50 increase...on a stock bow? Hmmmm.
Oh well, snooze, ya lose. Still drooling!

They're still the best deal around. Great service, fast turnaround, gorgeous bows...

This development prompted me to snag a lefty Whip on the classifieds while it was a deal.  I had been eyeing that one for a while and this news was the nudge I needed hahaha.

Yeah Chuck, know what ya mean. I had been eying the Super D on the stock bows site, then one popped up in the classifieds for trade. Couldn't get that one worked out, then the price went up. I understand new bows going up if their materials and overhead increases, that's part of it, but I'm not so sure about bows they've had in stock for a while. Oh well, is what it is. Can't say I blame them, if their product is in high demand, and the market will bear it, go for it I say. I am definitely pro capitalism.
Guess I'll have to be patient, as it will probably force me to stay with used hand me downs though. I'd rather see them go up to cover cost than to cut corners on a fine product.

I think you can forget about Wage Increases. If you want to Really Save Money, just Quit Eating, and Driving Your Car, and Watching Satellite TV. Welcome Back to the Dark Ages. Oh yeah, No More Hot Water either.

Yeah Tim,
I actually do agree concerning the stock bows.  The only ones they didnt mark up are the 'demo' models, which are basically new but have been shot a few times.  New commissions I get, but yeah the stock bows you'd think they'd wanna move em quick.  I have seen a few linger for many many months.

Shakes I agree, New Rome is here and the barbarians are at the gates.
