Getting ready to ship a bow and I always use PVC to try to prevent damage. I don't have any spare sections of pipe and didn't want to buy one if it doesn't fit.

Thanks Jason

I measured yesterday and it was about 4.5" which means you gota bump up to 5" pvc

Lamey

get the cheap "drain" pipe, its way less $$. I occasionally can find it CHEAPER then I can buy a shipping box.

I have shipped a Kanati in a 4" tube.Do you have a Lowes or Home Depot,I got a heavy cardboard carpet tube about 4"+ in diameter for shipping some more highly R/D longbows.

Well,  I was wrong.  I laid the bow flat the other day and measured edge to edge, coming up with 4.5".

Today I tried fitting the bow in a carpet tube I've been saving. The bow fit, barely, but it fit fine. I meaured the tube and it's 4".

Good news...since 5" pvc is not very common  :)
