...when you takes pictures of it with a kill.  Why do guys lay their bows down on their kills and put the arrows on top?  You cant see the bow.  Put the bow down with the arrows down so you can appreciate the beauty of them in the pics.

Hmmmmm. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm
not sure that what you heard is what I actually meant!

I often get so hung up on the animal, I have forgotten to put my bow in the pic.   :banghead:

I sometimes have the arrows up because I like the colors of my arrows to pop in the picture, but generally it just ends up that way because it was the easiest way to prop my bow on the animal because that's the flat side.

I do.  lol. I just dont do photobucket.  I can see if I can send u an email.

Blackhawk

I like a bow in the pic, but it should not take priority over the animal.  I prefer a tasteful background shot of the bow.

Of course, if you've already gutted the critter, then a bow and arrows can hide your butchering work.

Blackhawk, I completely agree.  We should be honoring the animal.  Always cringe when I see an animal with a compound covering it.  Looks like a pc of machinery fell on it and killed it.  Stickbows arent so obtrusive.

I don't want to bend my arrow!

Practicality.....I never lay my bow down on my arrows! Posting pics of the bow is a whole other series of photos imo.

X2 above.  We've all seen beautiful bows; mine in this pic is a hunting tool, a weapon.  Nothing too fancy.

For me, I take the picture of my bow w/animal so I remember which one I used, setup, etc.  I'm usually trying to show the animal, not my bow.

Keith Zimmerman

Why not show both at the same time?  I can't imagine any arrows out there that would get damaged from laying the bow arrows down on an animal.  If that's the case, maybe get some from D/M custom arrows or another sponsor that can handle that kind of abuse:)  LOL!

WRV

Wont hurt the arrows just for a picture........
