Hi Everyone.  I am looking to get into a back quiver, but had some questions regarding length.  I've been told I'm a tall fellow at 6'7" with a draw length of 30-31".  My arrows are 31" long, so I was wondering what length of quiver I would need.  I have no experience using them, but really want to learn.  I have seen quivers anywhere from 20-25 inches in length and was wondering what would work best.  Thanks in advance for the advice!

I personally would no go deeper than a 23" back quiver. Of the ones I made for myself I prefer 22" but my arrows are shorter than yours.

Are you thinking a Hill style?

Have someone measure your shirt from the bottom of your collar (or top of shoulder) to top of your belt and not make it any longer, preferably 2-3" shorter.   It's mostly by feel.  You need to be able to reach back with your drawing hand and pull the arrow up and out of the quiver.

Yes I was thinking about a Hill style, but they only go to 22" and I was wondering if that would be deep enough to hold the arrows where I need them.

You could have one made for you. I'd contact Mike at Mike's Archery Leather (MAL). A sponsor here.

I would guess that it would be fine. I shoot 32.5" arrows and my quivers are 22". For a taller person like you the depth is not used for fit but the strap adjustment.

I use a 25" because I shoot a 31" arrow. I do not know of anyone selling that length so I made one.
