I was looking at their site being I am looking for a Takedown bow. I see they have a 20th anniversary bow.. They don`t seem to have a model name listed.. So anyone know what they call it? Also,,it appears to be an R/D design, but they don`t list that either..anyone know?

Kingfisher, Alpha Male, or Bowie. All three models come in 1 piece or 3 piece T/D.
JD Berry Argos 64" 48#&28"

Acs one piece 64" 46#@28"

Rich, just give Ben a call at 704-436-2509. Always better to go right to the source to get the correct information. God bless, Scott.

Scott is correct.  Give Ben a call.  He will be more than happy to answer your questions.  The 20th anniversary bow is a very top line model.  I would think it is an even more dressed up version of the Kingfisher, Ben's top line bow.  All  of the Hummingbird bows are RD designs.

Hummingbird bows are some of the best looking bows made. Smoothest draw of any I have owned. Once owned a one piece anniversary longbow and the wood grain of the riser and lams was the best. The cocobolo shined like a ruby with grain. Bocote grain was the best.
There are faster bows out there, but for looks, smoothness of draw, forgiveness--it would be hard to find better.
Wheather you get the Kingfisher, Alpha Male, or anniversary bow they shoot with the same smoothness and forgiveness.
One opinion, Thanks, Roy
Maybe it is time to shoot what I have on the rack

RMSGear just got  a new Hummingbird Kingfisher listed on their website.  Looks like an amazing bow.

Rich just go to Floyd Bennett the next Sunday you get a chance. Frank has a 20 anniversary bow and it is a beautiful piece of work. He will let you know all about the bow.

Who is this? I must know you if you go to Floyd.

Scattergun, if you click on his handle on the left side it will bring up his profile and you can see his name (Carlo).

Everyone is correct, extremely nice bows and one of my favorite's being a 1 pc Alpha Male that I pulled in off a trade for a BW Lag some time back. That bow just works for me. With that said. I ordered a 3 pc that was switched up a little from the anniversary.
Holy smokes, I wanted a bow to shoot not showcase on the wall with a "do not touch sign" LOL
I learned some things with that bow. first I'm not fond of fancy, and two I'm not fond of 3 pc. for the simple fact that I like the looks and feel of a clean line longbow and something I'm not going to snivel about if I drop it.
Both in my head stuff and had nothing to do with shoot ability. Shooting wise the bow was fantastic.  I ended up trading it recently for a 2pc Whip so I didn't loose anything for the most part and I'm really liking it. But my Alpha Male will never leave.

You can't go wromg with any of the Hummingbird line. I shoot the 3 pc. takedown longbows. The are the reflex deflex design. They are fast and forgiving the perfect hunting bow in my opinion.

I have killed quite a few critters with them and plan on killing a whole lot more. I also shoot a lot of 3D with them.
Ben's bows are made as well as any bow out there and as forgiving as any out there. I use mine a lot and treat it rough but the finish holds up great they are workhorses in the field but also a work of art to look at.

I have 3 now.LCH

Ben makes beautiful bows that shoot extremely well. He and Linda aren't too bad to shoot with  either. Linda has won several contest against me and others. I can't remember ever beating her. It's probably because she gets a custom Humingbird bow built just exactly to her specifications. Ya, that's it.
