Great post and huge success. Question: was that a coral snake or a scarlet king snake? Either way, very cool looking snake. Never seen either one in the woods in SC even though they are supposed to be here.

Great pictures as always. What ever happened to Warren Womack? Didn't he post videos on here a while back?

Thanks Guys.
The Snake is a Coral snake and only the second I have ever seen.
Mr. Warren  is fine as far as I know. I do know he killed a deer with his recurve this year. A very good Man always willing to share his knowledge of hunting Whitetails in the South..He`s good at it!
The treeshark in the tree is from my hunting buddy Chris Spikes. He killed a doe coming to a hot water oak deep in the swamp and the treeshark was a pass through on the deer and did purty good on the tree. He left there...mainly because it would have been to hard to get out. Everytime we go by that part of the swamp we stop by and have a look. I went by it the other day when I killed the last pig of the year. Its about a mile and half deep on public land.Together we have probably killed 20 deer/hogs within a bow shot of the tree.Happy New Year guys.RC
