What's funny is I could shoot my bow still before surgery...drawing was NO problem...the release caused a ting in the area....so I didn't push it.

Now I haven't shot at all it 3 weeks.....gotta do 'something'.

Shooting with the teeth? I dunno, look what happened to Mongol horse bow master Chuluun Kushi who shot with his teeth while his right hand held the reigns of the horse. I'd wait a couple weeks...

T , I probably have a fairly light bow if you need one!! Don't tear anything up there!  :)
Stay sharp, Kenny.

I think it was Dwight Schuh who did an article for Bowhunter Mag about shooting his bow with a mouth tab. He had to have shoulder surgery right before season and was determined to hunt.  He like "onions" above made made his mouth tab out of a section of nylon dog leash. He was shooting a compound tho.

So.  How do ya get the right length chunk of dog collar?
Like tuning arrows, leave it full length and trim a 1/4" at a time until ya stop getting bullwhipped on the tonsils?

shooting with teeth would provide a solid and consistent anchor... interested to see how it turns out for you, Terry! =)

I watched a kid shoot with a strap arrangement around his shoulder, with a mechanical release on it. He had a badly deformed right arm. He would nock his arrow and he would bring his bow in to clip on the release. He drew the arrow with a push away with his good arm. When he was ready to shoot he could reach with his bad arm and touch the release.

I have been getting requests for pix of me at full draw with my mouth tab. I have no pix, but here is a video of me shooting in my backyard (my wife filming, and my #1 fans watching!). The deer target is 12 yards away, the first shot is a complete miss (stage fright), the next shot is in the back of the deer lungs, the 3rd shot sails through the target, dead center of the lungs.
Enjoy!

Yep, the 'chef' is definitely a pop off artist.  Its just not you he does it to.  He's really shoulder chippy it seems, and like to poke and flip at folks all the time.  To me, he really don't fit the TradGang mold if you know what I mean.

Pretty impressive Onions. Since I've spent a fair amount of money on my teeth in the last few years I wouldn't want to try that.
