Can anyone recommend a blind from which one could shoot a 68" longbow. I would like to keep it under $200 but give me all suggestions. If I must I will shoot my K-Mag or Grizzly but have kind of made a personal commitment to the longbow this year and would like to keep it.

Its more than $200 but double bull makes an extended version of the matrix blind that is meant for trad bows.  Not sure it can handle a 68 inch bow but its pretty big.

I bought a carbon venture at Sams Wholesale whick is like 7' tall..no problem for the longbow but takes a while to brush it in for concealment. I havent seen it on their website or any other for that matter

Build one!  Seriously, if you know someone who sews, and you can find the materials that you would like it made out of it is easy to design your own frame out of 1" plastic pipe, and beside you will have one that fits your needs!

Any cedars where ya hunt? If ya gotta brush it anyway,how bout this? A few cedar or pinoak limbs and a handful of ziptys go a long ways.... Just try to make sure you're shaded.        

A ghillie suit

like Dave said, get yourself a ghillie suit. or build a brush blind: 4-5ft high behind you, 1-2 feet high in front, and practice shooting while canting bow almost horizontal, that's the ticket! forget about the industrial popups

the matrix by db is 67" center height.
check out the eastman outfitters undercover LX5, it is 72" high and you could probably buy 2 for the price of a db

I have the LX-5. It would probably work but expect to limit the shooting port choices, You would need to set up for one shot only would be my guess. With my 60" Zipper recurve I can move around a bit.

I have an ameristep penthouse that i have shot  66" and 64" Hill long bows out of and see no reason why a 68" would be any different. That blind is under $200 I also have a DB matrix 360 that i shoot the same bows out of and that is a way better blind. There more money but worth it in the long run.

I bought an Escape Deluxe by Big Game Stands that's 75" high.  This is about as tall a blind as is available.  I don't shoot longbows, but I have plenty of room for my recurves up to 60".  I would say that a 68" longbow would be no problem...

The Penthouse is plenty big. I'm still wishy washy on pop up blinds for deer, but I plan to take muy daughter on her first turkey hunt in my Ameristep Penthouse blind.

For about $20 you can get a small blind like the kind turkey shotgunners use.  Packs up small and light.  Height can be up to 40" or so and 11 to 12 feet long.  You can kneel or sit on a low stool behind it.  Perfect height for getting an arrow over the blind without standing.  This one is from Eastman Outfitters:

Ameristep model 801 or Cabela's umbrella blind

They don't have a website and I don't remember the guys name that makes them but Apache Blinds are a simple solution to the problem.

Lodestar here in NJ , Bought the ameristep big house last year $189 at Gander Mountain its huge 6'x 6'x 72" tall. I was looking for the same accomodations in a ground blind and this one fits the bill perfectly, even with my 68" longbow... Jason
