Hey guys I finally got my first animal with a traditional bow. I've been trying for quite a while and had a lot of opportunities, but missed quite a few times and got busted quite a few times. I learned a little each time though, and finally made it happen last night.

I'm hunting on a buddies place down toward Corpus Christi. He's the one in the picture with me,and he killed the coyote, but not with a bow.

My set up is a 64" Big Jim's Buffalo bow 46@28 a 32" Heritage Express 150 and a Simmons Tree Shark.

I was drawing back on a doe when about ten hogs came plowing down and scared the deer off. I drew back and let the arrow go. It hit a little high, but went all the way through.

It's hard to explain just how excited I am,but it was very exciting to see that arrow fly true and hit it's mark after so many misses. Here's some pictures. It was dark and we did the best we could with the photos.

Thanks Bisch. I might have to take you up on getting together. I could use some pointers. It's been hard getting to this point.
