I was wondering what you all thought of the Bear Cheyenne. I have a couple of Kodiaks and am familiar with the GRizzly but I have never heard anyone really speak of the Cheyenne. Do I want one and didn't even know it?

id say they are as good as any bear bow, I don't have one but would like to have one myself,
since I like a shorter bow.

Well, I have my eye on one for trade. Maybe I can give a report before long.

The Cheyenne is a very pleasant shooting bow--even at my 29" draw.  I never thought I would care for a bow that short but was really surprised when I picked one up and pulled it.  They are a very under the radar bow as far as I can see.  The Cheyenne was designed by the current Bear production mgr. Neil Byce III and his dad Neil II who was Fred's bowyer back in the day.  Neil III told me he brought his dad back to help on their traditional bow line.  The Cheyenne hasn't gotten the traction it deserves I think due to the fact that it was not one of the historic Bear models from the Grayling days.  If you like shorter bows, you won't be disappointed with the Cheyenne.
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

I bought one for my adult son from Big Jim awhile back and he really likes it. 40 pounds, and shoots 2013's pretty good.
