What a fantastic cat Mike!  Those have long been on my dream list,  but don't know I'll ever get it done.  
Where are you headed in AZ?  Wife and I just pulled our camper down and set up in a state park today.  Have a javi tag in my pocket and might see if I can find any deer as well.

that's awesome man!!! can't wait to get one with trad gear. got a few under the belt with handgun back in washington. never seem to see them closer than 100m anymore.

Sorry about the late response. I have been on a nine day adventure in the mountains of western arizona. Hiked many miles, only found about 30 javelina, and realized that a carcass was not the primary reason for me being there. Lots of hunters now, you have to hike in much farther, but it was still a great hunt with my sons, friends, and grandson. I hope by now Whip, you have found some hogs and actually harvest one.
