I'm in the Denver megamess for Christmas, so as usual, I dropped in to Rocky Mt. Specialties. For those who haven't been, here is a quick look at what you are missing. They have more bows than Mudd:

Literally hundreds of bows.

Need some feathers?

How about a few broadheads?

The counter, where my money goes regularly:

I didn't take pics of the literally hundreds of knives that they have, but you can find just about whatever your heart desires in that field. Suffice to say, they probably have what you might need if it is tradtional archery related.

All I shoot for some time. They hand weigh and spine everything to very close tolerances. Good shafts.

Wish we something like that here.....really neat!!
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

After you don't handle every other bow on the wall, don't amble around those glass cases and counters,  trouble I say.....trouble...good thing I'm far...far....away....was a fun place to visit though.....

^^^ Agree with Littlejake. I have ordered stuff from their website - great folks to deal with.

Stopped by there for the first time in October and was greatly impressed. I felt at home. Nice people to deal with.

Behind those gentleman in the background is the "test track" where you can really see how those hundreds of bows work in your own hands.  Great people.  Great place!

If I lived around there I would be a fixture in that store!

RMSG is the best archery shop I have ever stepped foot in, bar none!!!!!!

Hell I even went there to hang out when all I shot was compounds.

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!

I love how the bows aren't behind a counter - RIGHT IN YOUR FACE! And knives, you say...Oh my.

I left out that they have gobs of shafts, wood and carbon, and make custom arrows, too. Just a few of them....

I wish we had that here but on the other hand, I am sure I am saving Money by not having it here.
Relax,

You'll live longer!

Are you hit with the smell of cedar when you first walk in?  I still remember that from the archery shops of my childhood.  Thanks for sharing Centaur, hopefully I'll get up there some day. - John
