Enjoyed the study.  It confirms what we deal with on the Haul Road.  The regular dark camo is visible for very long distance and you can't even tell it's camo until very close.  The caribou really key on it unless they are up against the rare dark background.

I got a set from David I'm sold on the pattern totally....

amicus, I am wearing the wool, and yes it is pricey. I only paid full price for the shirt, but it has gone up quite a bit since I bought mine over ten years ago. If I needed to replace it today, I would look real hard at polar fleece....maybe with a lining/windblocker?! For tree stand only, I really like the gray, but for all around use the brown appeals to me more. These are just personal opinions and I don't think animals care one way or another.     Mike

Switched to Predator Fall Gray several years ago and have not been VISUALLY busted yet..... now if I could just get them to hold still while I pinch their nostrils closed.......  

Second only to ASAT IMO.
