I plan on using my Montana longbow next season and would like to make something to carry my arrows with.  I have 2 Kwikee quivers and a few brackets.  I am wondering if anyone has ever made a side, back, or bag mounted quiver using these parts?  I do not want to drill holes in the bow and I do not want a quiver on the bow.  I was thinking something attached to a belt or something.  Thanks

I saw one made into a hip quiver and it worked well . It was mounted to some split cowhide .

There is a belt type holder that you can put a Kwikee on, Mark Baker also used to make the quiver kaddy. I made one my self and it works well. Do a search for Mark Baker and you will see one in use. Far west Leather makes the new and improved model.

I took some 8 oz leather and attached the black clip to it, cut  two slots in the leather so I can  slide it onto my belt. Nice and handy to carry the arrows and then slide the quiver off the bracket when I am sitting.

This is I made out of an old bear bow quiver. you can make one out just about any bow quiver. Not only does it make a good system but its fun to make your own equipment.

Sure you can!  Many have converted "modern" quivers to hip, side, and even back setups.  I like the look of Sidewinder quiver adapters, but have yet to even see one in person (just checked them out via the web and in a distributor catalog).  I do like the idea of how they can be positioned whichever way is comfortable to you.  Gray Buffalo's haversack/side quiver is awesome posted above!  I like the look of that.

I did some in years past. I made a hip quiver by taking a really thick piece of leather and bolted the quiver bracket to it at the angle I wanted the arrows to carry. I used a simple clip on the top to slip over my belt. It worked fine but I found out I didn't like a hip quiver in the brush.

Another time I took a back pack and mounted the bracket on the side towards the bottom. I burned holes in the pack and used a piece of leather to stiffen the pack on the inside and outside. It carried the feathers up near my head and worked well.

There are plenty of ideas you can come up with too.

I have an old Kwikee Quiver that I added a piece of para cord as a shoulder strap and my tree stand has a quick disconnect attached to it so I can attach the Kwikee Quiver to the stand before I go up a tree. This puts the arrows near for easy retrieval while sitting on stand.
