I've got a 58", #52 carbon super shrew that has become my go to.  Was looking for something a touch heavier and just sent funds for a 56", #55 classic hunter carbon.  Any nuances between the two I should be aware of?  Obviously I'm a buy first and ask questions later kind of guy,  ;) , but curious if you all had any thoughts.

jrchambers

if you like the ss why not just get the same  with more weight.

Ray Lyon

Other than the weight, you'll find them very similar. I love my 56" Classic Hunter.  I also have a 58" Super Shrew Samurai, but it's 14# heavier, so no comparison there.

Good question jrchambers.  Cause I hate to wait and pay full price, so I buy used.

Ray Lyon

My hunch is that it'll replace your other Shrew as your go to bow. Good call on the used route.

I have both and really can't tell any difference.  The grip is the same, the riser is just a bit longer on the SS.  Love em both.

I enjoy them both but can see already see the.little classic hunter taking the lead.  Just amazing how smooth it is for how short.  Might be the perfect bow for the backpack hunter!
