Thought my fellow Tradgangers might like to see this. I just shot the cover for the next issue of PBS Magazine. It's a "tip of the hat" to Fred Bear.  I recently traveled to see and photograph fellow Kentuckian J.R. Chappell's vintage Bear Archery collection.  This year he drove to Grayling to pickup one of Fred's old hats from Dick Lattimer's daughter to add to his great collection.  It is the same hat Fred worn in the photo of Dick's book, "I Remember Papa Bear".  The image means a lot to me personally since I knew Fred and Mrs Bear. Wonderful people. The PBS cover will coincide with PBS's big event in March at the Cincinnati Hyatt Regency.

Couldn't imagine owning such a piece of archery history. The man looks like he could be anyone's grandfather, father, mentor, best friend, Ect......and he was. Fantastic post and if 8x10 prints of this are available for purchase, sign me up!
