Hello Gang, I need your feedback for 2014...post if you are interested or have better suggestions to get this rolling:)            :bigsmyl:

I will email anyone who is interested so please shoot me an email.

Some stuff from my most recent scouting 12/8 and trail cam pics of just the bucks and pigs from Jan 2014

Michael,  Not sure if you remember me but we traded PM's a couple years ago.  I may be interested in making one of the hunts.  I have a lifetime hunting license in Oklahoma but have only been back once since we moved 17 years ago.  Are there hogs on the Waurika WMA?  My email is grswinton@charter.net.  Because of the long drive it might be hard to get down for the scouting trips but maybe I could fly down next summer to get the lay of the land.

Hey Michael, I'm definitely interested.  I would love to meet up with you this month but I'm out of town the dates you are going.  If you decide to go any after Christmas, let me know.  And please email any info regarding next year.  I've got three other trad buddies down here that I think would be interested as well.
Thanks for initiating this!

Tim there is a chance I might be able to go the very last weekend if I am feeling up to it...I get back from Nigeria on the 9th. I will let you know.

Gary, shoot me an email and I'll keep you posted. No serious need to fly down before season. I'll do the scouting for you if you can't make it.

Sounds like a good time. Unfortunately, my work schedule is crazy & sometimes unpredictable so I probably couldn't go any this year & it's hard to say about next year. But, if I find out I can make it, I'll be sure to let ya know. Glad to see someone doing this in the area though.   :clapper:

Sounds like fun and would give me a chance to come down and put my Oklahoma Lifetime hunting license to use.

Wow, that's really cool to have WMA's that are archery only! We have some pretty decent SWA's as we call them in Colorado, but we are competing with everybody for all seasons for the available critters.

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!

Yep, there are a few as I recall, I used to hunt the Okmulgee WMA when I lived down in Oklahoma and that was archery only in parts of it.
Much better public land hunting available than here in Kansass...

I would take the names off and find people that are interested.  Then send them pms with the places you have in mind.  Or all the places you list you may find unwelcome pressure next year.  I would be interested.

Advise taken:) guys PM or email me for more information on the location

Michael'
God willin I will make at least 1 weekend if not more. I have an Ok. lifetime as well. My dad and brother have ruined my hunting in SW Ok. with their cattle operation. I brought my stands home 2 weeks ago and the plan was to find new gnd in NE OK. Your idea couldn't have come at a better time.

I'm interested also for next year.  Michael, I think you're really going to get cold Saturday.  Hope you get one.
On a side note:  the Oklahoma Longbowmen have a deer hunt and pheasant hunt each year in Oklahoma.

Michael Arnette

Yep, totally gonna freeze my butt off Saturday

I would be interested. Shoot me a PM with more details.

I'd be interested, I'm in Derby, KS (Suburb of Wichita...)...  Always like to meet other Trad Gangers and get some hunting time in...

Michael,
I'm in for at least some of the hunts next year. Put me on your list.
I hunt Cherokee quite a bit. God willing, I will be hunting there some this month and in January. If anyone is interested in joining me, let me know!
