I brokadid my toy today  :(   .  I have a 17 year old 66" 83# @ 29.5" Morrison longbow.  The MOST awesome bow I have ever shot.  It's not the fastest in the world,  but it will throw a 722gr arrow at 185 fps.  It feels perfect though.  No shock at all, and hits EXACTLY where I look.  Well tonight on my way to the woods I went to shoot my customary 5 arrows into the bale before I left.  On my second shot the nock exploded upon release and basically dry fired my bow resulting in not only a nice little boo boo on my forarm, but the overlay on the limb tip popped off.  I called Bob and even though the bow is about seventeen years old give or take and I got it second hand he said he could have it done in a couple days for $50.00 he also said that since my bow had wood overlays and he hasn't used wood for limb tips for a long time, he would replace both tips with glass and refinsh the whole thing.  If I ever get over being a cheap-a$$, and pony up the cash for a NEW bow it will be from Bob. Actually  I've been thinking about a Shawnee for a while. This kind of customer service probably just guaranteed that come spring (when I'm supposed to get back to work    ) I will be ordering one  :clapper:

Bob always treats customers right in my experience, whether they be first hand or second.

I'm sure if all the folks Bob has done well by lined up shoulder to shoulder, it'd be one hellicious long line!

What these "custom bowyers" make an hour is pititful compared to what time and talent they put in and then go 'above and beyond."

Booyaah for Bob and other's like em...!
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!
